Fulshaw Park South, between the junctions with Alderley Road and Ashford Road.

Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 12:58, Tuesday 2 January 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5377570.

The drains to the gullies along Fulshaw Park South are often blocked by leaves. This causes heavy rain to collect outside 1A and 1B Fulshaw Park South. The drains on the Alderley Road side of the junction seem to be completely blocked, so the water also blocks the main road, which is very dangerous. Ashford Road also floods at the same time. The issue has occurred 2-3 times per year since 2019. It didn't happen at all in the 7 years before that. This latest time happened during the night and the water entered our garage and reached our electrical system. This area is not within a flood zone, it's an infrastructure issue.
