All along Manchester Road,Wilmslow

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 15:26, Fri 29 December 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5365910.

I counted 20 grids and 17 are blocked with silt etc. The rain is just running down the road to the lowest point causing flooding. This is a constant problem and been going on for years. The paths and roads are eroding because of it as well. If all these huge puddles were to freeze then the cracks etc will just worsen. Flooding at the bottom of Old Road is bad and limits walking access, then road is left black, sludge and smelly. Surely keeping on top of clearing the gutters will be more cost effective long term than having to repair all the damage the water causes. End of Bridgefield Avenue one couldnt see the kerbs so an accident waiting to happen. Plus as a pedestrian I'm fed up of getting drenched by thoughtless drivers who go through these huge puddles.
