Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 22:09, Mon 11 December 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5308806.

There is a large pothole that has been getting progressively worse over the last few months and now there is a horrendous vibration and banging when HGVs pass over it. Our houses are shaking violently every few seconds, all hours of the day or night. There are thousands of HGVs using this route every day and night and this is damaging the fabric of our houses and making it impossible to sleep. It would be appreciated if this could be repaired as a matter of urgency. Many thanks.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
