Litton, Cross Lane

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 20:10, Sun 3 December 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5277854.

I thought planning permission would have been required to have built a brick wall when it's directly onto the road, but nevertheless: 1. The new brick wall/pillars seems to extend out into the road beyond the site boundary (shown as 1. in attached photo) 2. The developer seems to have patched up the tarmac on Cross Lane but it's not at all level and a bit of a trip hazard (shown as 2. in attached photo). Also the new driveway to Litton now all drains onto Cross Lane rather than internally on the property which seems to overwhelm the drain.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
