Bad bend on Byley Lane

Reported via mobile in the Gritting and Grit Bins category anonymously at 17:56, Sun 3 December 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council 35 minutes later. Council ref: 5277620.

Another accident on this bend. This time three cars were involved and the police in attendance. One car skidded on the ice and another ploughed into it as the driver was not driving according to the conditions. A third car soon joined them. This is an accident blackspot when icy. The road markings face the wrong way, the markings show ‘slow’ when leaving the bend, not entering the bend. This really needs gritting when icy and a warning sign indicating a bend and ice. It’s about time something got done about this bend before there is a fatality.
