Corner of Knutsford Road and Dingle Avenue
Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 19:35, Sat 2 December 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 5275802.
Gully STILL blocked, after several reports to Cheshire East, over a long period of time. Water flowing from blocked gully on Knutsford Road, flows across the entrance of Dingle Avenue. With current weather conditions this is an ice slick, which is a danger to pedestrians and motorists. Despite the Council’s previous assurance that gullies are inspected 3 times a year, why is it still blocked? I can’t see how such a problem can be left for so long. I fail to comprehend why this wasn’t resolved before the road was resurfaced earlier this year. Will it take an accident to occur before the council takes positive action clear this blockage?
