1 Lowe Drive

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:09, Tue 28 November 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5261810.

I’m uploading the latest pictures of the road running outside my property, following on from my previous explanation on the footpath. I can only upload 3 images. There is a lot of water pouring out from underneath the telephone pole, which is very concerning and causing a slow running river along that part of the road, which is not helping the road surface which is deteriorating fast anyway. I have to remove bolders from the road most mornings from the holes and areas of the road that is eroding away. If all of this area of the road can be fully repaired all at once, as repairing individual pot holes, once every year is causing this ongoing problem to get worse. This will surely be far more efficient and cost effective for yourselves. I believe the basic test of checking how deep the individual pot holes are, doesn’t work when there is so many together, as any patched up work, as good as that may be, will be ripped up in no time because of the holes next to the repair. I don’t know whether a vehicle has reversed into the telephone pole, it is leaning towards my drive slightly and wall damage on the front of my house, ever since this damage has occurred that’s when the water has been pouring out from the bottom of the pole, definitely does not seem safe. I have been advised I can’t do any work from my driveway onwards because of the damaged footpath. I do really appreciate the time looking into this, I just want to work with yourselves to rectify this ongoing issue, as soon as possible, as week by week both the road and footpath is getting worse.
