Directly outside 432 Crewe Road, Wistaston is a gulley from which water is emerging into the gutter.

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category by Ian Hodkinson at 14:13, Tue 28 November 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5261514.

This problem has existed for several months and is a constant problem, especially to those waiting at a nearby bus-stop who suffer traffic spray despite the vararies of the weather. I am aware that this problem may be connected with a drain opposite to Springfield Drive, that discharges rainwater into a nearby brook becoming blocked by sediment.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
