Traffic lights at junction of Redhouse lane and Buxton Rd (A6)

Reported via desktop in the Permanent Traffic Lights category anonymously at 13:41, Thu 23 November 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5245823.

The filter light that should operate for vehicles to turn right from Buxton Rd (A6) to Redhouse lane is not working and to the best of my knowledge hasn't been for at least 2 months. . When turning right , unless the road is clear, you have to wait for a vehicle coming up redhouse lane wanting to join the A6 , this then turns the traffic signals to red . Vehicles wishing to turn right have turn very quickly before the vehicles joining the A6 begin to move. this is very dangerous and I have personally witnessed a very near miss at this location.
