Opposite Cornmill Close

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category by Adrian Crank at 13:01, Wed 22 November 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5241530.

This pothole has been filled three times in the past three months but opens up again fairly quickly. It would be cost-effective to carry out a 'proper' repair rather than waste council tax payers' money on a temporary fix which is proven to be ineffective. See also bockage in gully 2m uphill whose overflow contributes to the hydraulic impact in that section the carriageway - especially if water collects beneath the poorly-filled pothole.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
