I reported this “pothole” on the 14th October - nearly a month ago now and absolutely nothing has been done about repairing it and I have since heard reports of numerous drivers experiencing serious damage to their vehicles including punctures, split tyre walls and even broken suspension parts leading to complete wheel and hub breaking away from the car. This is a single track road where there is no way of driving through it for a lot of vehicles including school buses and vans and lorries needing to make necessary local deliveries and collections. Due to the long term avoidance by Cheshire East of the repair or maintenance of the drains along a 150-200m stretch higher up this road for the last 25-30years, there is a constant flow of water down the road and it is fast becoming impassable by “normal” road going vehicles.
