Substation next to 2 Church Lane and garden of 2 Church Lane

Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 16:09, Sun 5 November 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5176717.

The grid on the road constantly gets blocked and floods across the road and into the electricity substation. There is so much water in and around the substation that it overflows and floods my garden. This has been happening for years ( I’ve been here 25 years) and I constantly have to replace the plants. The sitting water is also lifting paving and cobbles at the front and rear of my house. Usually I clear road debris from the top of the grid and this reduces the flooding across the road. Recently this hasn’t worked and it appears the the grid / main sewerage is blocked. I’m concerned about the amount and height of water in the substation. I believe a grid the A537 side of the substation would help to reduce the constant flooding.
