Column 39 on the public footpath.
Reported via desktop in the Light Out category by Harry Sidderley at 18:57, Sun 29 October 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5150575.
This public footpath next to the river has been in complete darkness for three years now. It is a health and safety issue, especially during the winter. I have slipped on ice personally last year due to how dark it was and still nothing has been done. This is one of the main public footpaths to access Wilmslow Town Centre so it needs the street lights to all be working yet zero around this section are. Obviously the problem is linked to the Bollin Valley outage but it needs finally sorting now after three years as it feels like this problem isn't being resolved like it should and is just being left. Please carry out this work now. Thank you.
