2d And 2c Manchester Toad
Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 15:18, Mon 23 October 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5127733.
The pavement gully has completely blocked and the adjacent road gully seems to be almost fully blocked so whenever it rains, a very large and deep puddle appears with a river running down the drive to the front of the property, which has had some water damage as a result. Also the puddle is so large (and remains for around a full day after the rain) that everyone has to walk onto the road to avoid the puddle. The road at that point is 40mph but cars go much faster, hence this is quite dangerous. Also we have to wade through around 6” deep water to access our property on foot.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
