Bridgemere Lane Opposite Farm Track
Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category anonymously at 16:50, Tuesday 3 October 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5057957.
Data to support 5057645 and 5040638 which have been closed and not able to update. 1st pic shows Farm trailer off road entirely on the verge. 2nd pic shows the empty Farm trailer tilting as it turns into the track, even more dangerous when full. This track is newly constructed and farm vehicles should use the carriageway not verges to access it. The dumping of hardcore has shored up the carriageway edge which has been badly eroded. Further serious carriageway edge erosion is occurring all the way from the A529 to the Green Waste Site.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We deal with defects based on the level of immediate risk. We have assessed the issue and it does not present an immediate risk to highway users at this time. As the problem you have reported is not causing an immediate safety issue we will now look at the best long- term approach for this location. We keep all roads and highway assets safe through our routine inspections. If anything is identified as a risk during a future inspection, we will take action to deal with it as appropriate.
State changed to: No further action
