Road safety / crashes

Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category anonymously at 17:08, Saturday 30 September 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5047857.

Location: The corner outside Grasmere house and opposite the lane the farm track. Issue: Lorries and cars have pulled up the metal kerb edges which stops the bank falling down to the house below. In addition in the last year we have had 3 cars crash into the hedge nearly falling down onto our house below which will hit the house, oil tank or our car. We have had to help tow them out as they have fallen part down the bank. On 4 separate occasions lorries have also gone off the road and hit our entrance pillars in the last year (all just drive off leaving damage across the road). There are no road signs, markings or safety barriers and now the kerb edging has been pulled up metal plates keep getting knocked into the middle of the road
