Gully No. 790076157 Opposite No. 1
Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category by Stephen Caldwell1 at 16:21, Wed 27 September 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5037561.
Since the summer traffic, the gully has got blocked and the road is flooding after heavy rain. Which is getting hard to walk down, because it doesn't have footpaths on either side of the road. Because of this, and the road being very narrow vehicles are damaging the road side.. thankyou. .

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.

We deal with gullies based on the level of immediate risk. We have assessed this location and it is not considered to present an immediate danger to highway users at this time. We are due to empty the gullies here as part of our routine programme in the next 12 weeks. This means we will not visit before the scheduled visit unless there is an immediate threat to life or the inside of property. You can find out the scheduled visit date by visiting our website: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ highways_and_roads/ road-maintenance/ gullies-and-drains.aspx
