The hedge next to the footpath in Sydney Road, Crewe from the junction with Lansdowne Road to the bus shelter.

Reported via desktop in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category by Hazel Faddes at 23:17, Mon 25 September 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5031267.

This hedge and the weeds here are very overgrown and make it difficult for people to walk along the path. Could these please be cut back.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.

  • We have assessed the issue and added it to our improvement programme for repair over the longer term. This means we are unlikely to do any improvement work here during the current financial year. Our programmes sometimes change if more funding becomes available. You should check our website for any updates.
