Footway along chester road near Nether Tabley

Reported via desktop in the Footway category by t jeffs at 14:51, Tuesday 12 September 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4986512.

About 75% of the footway is lost to soil and grass. The traffic is really fast, lorry mirrors whizz by your head, inches away. You can't now step past other pedestrians. Can't now push a wheelchair down here. Can't now push a pram. Can't take children down.

It's a really, really, really simple job to remove this soil - the footway beneath is nice and smooth. It's literally just running a digger blade along it and dumping the spoil into a dumper truck. It's a day's work. The footway must be a good 10 feet wide, but at the moment only 12 inches is clear.

Would you please sort this out before someone is killed?
