Hawthorn Grove SK95DE
Reported via mobile in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 16:16, Sun 10 September 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4977853.
We’ve lived on Hawthorn Grove for 22 years. In that time the 5 trees which line the access to the road alongside the parking bays have grown to a huge size. The canopies now fill the road and reach to the house at number 1. The tree trunks are covered in ivy. During windy weather small branches fall into the road. I do not believe that the safety / health / size of these trees has been checked recently at all. I am becoming increasing concerned about their size, proximity to the parking bays and houses. Following the tragic accidents in the Carrs park I think someone needs to come and look at these trees before there is another accident. I think they need ‘managing’ and maintaining.

We have assessed the issue and it needs to be inspected by a qualified arborist. The time it will take to carry out the inspection will depend on the priorities of the arborist. We will update your report once we have more information.
