There has been previous reports of flooding on this section. Rainwater is rushing from the main road onto station road making it difficult for people to leave their properties/vehicles to enter the properties. This happens in heavy rain and has been reported to yourselves for some time.

We have carried out an initial assessment of the problem and we need more time to decide our next steps. Drainage issues can be complex and time consuming-matters and at this stage we are unable to give you any indication on timescale. We will update your enquiry once we have more information. In the meantime, we will keep the area safe through routine inspections.
