Bridge over the railway line on Chorley Hall Lane

Reported via desktop in the Footway category anonymously at 12:25, Wed 16 August 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4897681.

The footway at the apex of this bridge, which has very reduced vision of oncoming traffic, is scarcely more than 18 inches wide, and very hazardous to the elderley or pushchair users, who have to use the roadway to navigatr the bridge. Surely the local authority can either put in a one-way at a time traffic restriction or alternativrly build a a pedestrian bridge alongside. This bridge is the only practical access for people from Downesway or Blackshaw Lane into the centre of Alderley Edge. This has been an issue for many years.
