Corner of Ullswater Road and Newby Court in Congleton

Reported via mobile in the Street Name Plates category anonymously at 06:24, Sun 13 August 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4885793.

Virtually all the road name signs on the pavement in this part of the estate had the concrete post signs replaced with the metal post signs some years ago. An exception was the Newby Court sign on side nearest Padgbury Lane. This was probably due to the sign being partly covered by a conifer tree on the corner. Even though under the tree the nameplate had been v loose for some years as the wood it was attached to aged. The conifers around it were removed some time ago and I noticed today that the nameplate had come way from the wood and someone had now balanced it on the top. Please can this sign be repaired/replaced. I have included photos of both the old style sign which needs repair/replacing and the newer style one opposite it which had been there for some years
