Manhole cover adjacent to Westgate Park junction

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 21:53, Wednesday 2 August 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 4853227.

The existing manhole, which is driven over unavoidably by most, is starting to disintegrate around the edges and seems to be sinking. This is resulting in tarmac begin to crumble and disintegrate around one corner which is spreading across the carriageway but also the noise of cars driving over it is considerable even from my house which is not one in the immediate vicinity. I believe this has been worked on before but it needs further investigation now.
