Kerb side gully blocked adjacent to the stop line for the traffic lights where the A50 Liverpool Road heading to Alsager crosses the A5011 Linley Lane
Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 14:14, Monday 31 July 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4843540.
The flooding of the last 20m to the stop line has been here since late last year and has got worse. It has been reported previously but nothing has been done. I have seen numerous incidents where people have slid during heavy braking and also as it is deep at times people have nearly caused a collision trying by trying to avoid the standing water using the turn right lane at the expense of potentially cutting someone up. This in addition leaves people going through the lights at an angle cutting across people leaving Alsager turning right to go up Linley Road.
