Action scheduled
Between 24 and 18a Howey Lane
Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 10:37, Thu 27 July 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4830959.
It appears the drain in the road is blocked. Water bubbles up from the gulley near no. 24 and then runs down the road, some goes into the gulley outside 18a, but in heavy rain this second gulley cannot cope and the water floods the road and footway making it difficult for pedestrians who risk being splashed by passing vehicles. The water continues to flow even when the rain has stopped, some times for several days. This has being happening for sometime.
