Sandbach Road

Reported via mobile in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 21:06, Mon 19 June 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4692056.

The trees are overgrown, growing to close together, growing over the carpark, Sandbach road and residents gardens and they are in desperate need of managing and maintaining. At least 5-6 meters in hight and width needs cutting off the large tree in the middle of the 2 smaller trees. The overhanging branches are allowing anti social behaviour of teenagers using its cover of overgrown branches to wee up peoples fencing/gates. They also sit on the car park drinking under the cover of the trees as they have completely grown over the lamp post and the light cannot emit light and is making it very dark under the trees when using the path. Alot of branches are dead and sparcley growing. The large tree is getting bigger and bigger each year and has had no maintaining or cutting back/down in a least 20 years. 1 or 2 branches cut here and there. The largest tree could even be removed as you have to young trees that will just grow to be as big and alot thicker. Causes alot of debris which the council never clean up. It's overgrown and half dead. You need to start maintaining all the trees instead of putting TPO's on everything and leaving these trees to grow wild whilst ignoring the impact to council tax paying residents. This issue is long standing and has been ignored by the council. This needs investigating throughly and the trees need cutting ASAP
