The A54 - worse section between The Wild Boar Inn, past The Rose & Crown Inn to just beyond Blaze Farm

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4632375.
Where do I start with this road? There are so many appalling potholes, trenches at the edges, whole lines of carriageway deterioration and so on that it's impossible to pinpoint. Having used this road a lot recently to head to the Peak District for my walks, and to Buxton Opera House the other day, I'd say the worse section is between The Wild Boar Inn, past Rose & Crown Inn to just beyond Blaze Farm. There is also an awful developing pothole on a sharp bend as you approach the motel at Clulow Cross if coming towards Bosley. To avoid this you would risk a head on collision on a blind bend - it is totally unacceptable! However the section I've tried to indicate is awful and you have to constantly swerve around the defects to try and avoid them, which is very very dangerous. It's either that or you risk damaging your car. The whole of this road needs urgent complete re-surfacing to be honest. Perhaps it would take another Tour of Britain cycle race?
