Barn lodge garden drianage

Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 21:31, Thursday 25 May 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4597785.

Hi, hope you’re well? I have recently moved into the area and I’m having problems with the drainage / water flow coming on to my property from 3rd party council land. In heavy rain fall, there seems to a flourish of water that floods my garden. I have done some investigating further, and there doesn’t seem to be any form of drainage on my street. When you approach my house from the road, driving up the street, the street has a decline allowing water from the road to access my garden. I have spoken to the previous owner and have been informed that this started to happen when some work was done in the area a few years back. He never followed this up but it’s becoming unbearable to live with.
