Blocked stream tunnel causes flooding in heavy rain
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4562783.
The stream flowing from Sourbutts Farm to the reservoir passes under the road (North end of Smithy Lane). The pipe which directs the water under the road gets very silted up (possible caused by obstructions in the pipe). High flow in the stream then backs up and floods the Smithy Lane) at the junction with the A54. Need pipe clearing and stream banks opening up to maintain clear flow.
