End of Tuner Street just before it meets Church Street

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:08, Tue 16 May 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4559957.

A whole area of road here (around 9 feet by 4 feet) has cracked into many pieces and appears to be subsiding into the drain (which has also been blocked for years). The area was partly patched by workmen last year but they clearly didn't do a complete or thorough job. When cars or vans (and bin lorries) go over the broken area the houses on either side can faintly feel shaking as the ground clearly isn't stable. The whole area needs to be dig up and re-surfaced.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
