The end of Sugar Pit Lane nearest Tabley Road - drain

Every time it rains heavily the drain fails to clear the water quickly and there are floods on the road. Yesterday the flooding was all across the road and into the driveway of No 2 Sugar Pit Lane. The driveway is on a slope so no risk to the property so far (would need about 2ft of flood water to reach the properties).

Nonetheless, the photos taken around 9.30pm last night (11 May 2023), about 5 hours after the end of the heavy rain, demonstrate the issue and danger to cars and pedestrians. I noticed a lady with a buggy having to turn around and go via another route due to the flood.
