Wrenbury Road from Sandy Lane junction to Whitchurch road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 19:56, Monday 17 April 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4453081.

I’ve complained about the state of this section of Wrenbury road before. Your operatives came out a couple of weeks ago to carry out pathetic repairs on potholes that are now disintegrating again and major holes that had flooded were not even touched. My home is still shaking when heavy trucks speed along here. The road narrows in this section and Sandy lane is the same. I suffer from both roads. If you are not going to re surface then at least impose a speed limit of 10pm to slow these HGVs down. I have monitored speeds up to 70mph on this single carriageway!!!! It is only wide enough for one vehicle, there are no pavements for pedestrians. The road is right on our boundaries. These lorries need diverting through Wrenbury where the road is wider. Do something urgently before a major accident occurs property is damaged and someone is killed. School kids don’t stand a chance. I believe someone has already made a claim re the pot holes as a council chap was outside and told me last week. I cannot stand this any longer. I’ve just bought my home and I’m terrified. I hold you accountable and action is needed - re surface, divert HGVs and impose 10pm speed limit and put up speed cameras!!!!!!!! I intend to take legal action against you otherwise.
