Den Lane at the bottom of the driveway to Lower Den Farm and the field entrance to HS2 Early Mitigation Works.
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Cllr Janet Clowes at 21:14, Thu 13 April 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4436786.
This stretch of road has been reported before (Council ref: 4377712.) but as todays photos illustrate, in just two weeks, this section has disintegrated badly. There are a selection of deep and extensive potholes (see the HS2 Entrance behind). These range from 4” to 6” in depth but are large with steep ridged edges. The deeper levels of the carriageway structure are now exposed. In addition 10m to the west (towards Wybunbury), there is a further suite of deep potholes and troughs longitudinally along the road. These troughs range in depth from 2 inches to 5 inches along their length. This area need urgent priority attention.
