Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4410251.
This issue was reported in mid March ) (4318176) where previous temporary repairs at this site have disintegrated leaving an extensive pot hole (approximately 1m x 1.5m which is significantly deeper in the centre.) It is not always easy to see as it fills with surface water run-off and so presents a significant hazard to road users. (Pedestrians are also getting very wet when cars drop into it!) Since my last report the area has broken down further and drivers are having to drive into the centre of the carriageway to avoid the pothole. This is not a safe manoeuvre in this location, but is understandable as cars are starting to receive damage as a result of travelling through it.
