Chester Steet mini-roundabout
Reported via desktop in the Lining category anonymously at 22:41, Tuesday 4 April 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4399557.
This location is a danger to the public with the roundabout markings now completely invisible. You tend to have to be familiar with the location to know a round-about is actually there. In particular, there is no stop line when approaching from the Market Square side which leads to traffic going straight accross not realising there is a round-about there. A car nearly hit me a few days ago due to this. This is completely unacceptable. Please make this a priority to resolve as soon as possible, even if a temporary measure is implented before the lines can be re-done properly. I have noticed this has already been reported months ago and not taken seriously.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
