Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4331751.

The pavement and edge of road is a complete disgrace. The pavement has worn away and grit and debris gets sprayed up on the pavement and into the property too. Whoever completed the patch up of the potholes on the road has made an absolute mess too. It’s disgusting… the whole road needs re tarmacing. You can’t call that a repair job… what an absolute waste of tax payers money.

  • We deal with defects based on the level of immediate risk. We have assessed the issue and it does not present an immediate risk to highway users at this time. As the problem you have reported is not causing an immediate safety issue we will now look at the best long- term approach for this location. We keep all roads and highway assets safe through our routine inspections. If anything is identified as a risk during a future inspection, we will take action to deal with it as appropriate.
