On the stepped part of Hillfields, on the right side when descending.

Reported via desktop in the Fencing/Walls category anonymously at 11:57, Friday 17 March 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4324665.

In July last year I submitted this issue and it was given ref. 3713048, with feedback stating that it would be monitored. I have not used this footway for some while, but on doing so today (March 17th) I noticed that the problem is now quite a lot worse, with the gap between adjacent stones at the top of the wall having grown to about two inches, and the outward 'lean' of the downslope part of the wall more pronounced. I do not claim any technical expertise in such matters, but I am very concerned at what I saw today, and request that it be professionally examined as soon as possible.
