50 Oxford Street, CW1 3HP

Reported via desktop in the Parking category anonymously at 16:12, Monday 13 March 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4308599.

Since the change of use of the former “Mother & Baby Unit” a couple of years ago the managers responsible for the now “Housing Care Facility” (50 Oxford Street, CW1 3HP) must have decided that it’s OK for them to leave a total of 15 council wheelie bins permanently located outside of their property in the road. They have plenty of space inside their own carpark, in fact there is a purpose made area for wheel bins to be stored properly within the curtilage of their building. I can only assume they are just too lazy to bring the bins in and out like everyone else, this has been the situation since they took it over, it’s a persistent issue that needs to be sorted out.

As well as looking like an eyesore, this is frustrating for local residents given that parking is an issue around this area, the bins are effectively taking up x2 parking spots. Please could someone at Cheshire East kindly contact the managers of the facility and explain the rules regarding the “putting out and bringing in of the appropriate bins on a weekly basis”. Thank you.
