Lane to the right side of saltersford corner leading to the bridleway

Reported via mobile in the Dog Fouling category anonymously at 11:03, Mon 13 March 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4306738.

Several years ago we asked for a poo bin to be sited on saltersford corner as local residents use this lane to walk their dogs, and dog mess was a problem. Markings were put on the road . These have long since worn off and the lane is now treated as a dog toilet. The number of dogs and residents has increased significantly with the new estates in close proximity and we live on the corner (number 92) and are regularly told by people they don’t have to pick up after their dogs. The lane verges are in a disgusting state and me and my daughter (13) will regularly pick up mess when we walk our dogs to try and clear it a little. She picked up 38 the other day. Please can the road markings be reinstated to remind people of the need to clear up their dog mess and the request for a bin be reconsidered? The one on the corner of manor lane isn’t in view /in the right location to ensure people use it. Thank you
