St Michaels way/Leadsmithy

Reported via mobile in the Permanent Traffic Lights category anonymously at 19:25, Friday 10 March 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4299873.

The lanes approaching St Michael's way from Leadsmithy are a dual/split road. The lights need to be dual lights. Traffic turning left is backing up along leadsmithy due to the poor layout causing static pollution in the town. When the lights to the right of the Leadsmithy junction are on red the left turn should automatically be on green assisting traffic flow. Currently there is only one set of lights controlling traffic turning both left and right.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
