Cledford Lane/Booth Lane junction traffic lights

Reported via desktop in the Permanent Traffic Lights category anonymously at 21:57, Friday 24 February 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4261899.

What is going on with the traffic lights sequencing at this junction? When I take the dog for a walk every night past this junction, there are cars waiting on Cross Lane and Booth Lane for the lights to change when they are on green for Cledfrod Lane where no car has approached in ages. The lights change to let the detected traffic go and then they default back to green for Cledford Lane. We're told air quality needs improving , well lets start by not leaving cars waiting for non existent traffic to clear the junction.
