Hedgerow still over the pavement
Reported via mobile in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category by Cllr Suzie Akers Smith at 14:18, Monday 20 February 2023
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4247634.
I reported this problem last year and again in November because tye hedgerow has not been cut back. I would like to escalate the severity of danger to pedestrians 🚶♀️ just leaving over 2 feet of pavement. Please can somebody contact me to say when the hedgerow will be removed to show the pavement and make the signs clear. Traffic speeds up here because of the change from 30 to 40mph and when lorries speed past, or is wholly dangerous for vulnerable road years.
Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
