Roads in this area generally

Reported via desktop in the Slurry or Mud on the Highway category anonymously at 12:04, Sun 19 February 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4245294.

The roads in this area are filthy and covered in layers of dirt and filth. They actually look browny coloured, you can see it all very clearly when you drive by. This build-up Is affecting the outside edges of the roads and the pavements too, where it is accumulating quite badly now. Certain Roads like Moss Lane are badly affected too, due to the volume of aggregate lorries etc that use the area. This is a highly residential area which suffers from dirt on cars, dirt on roads , dirt on front doors and windows, and concerningly there is a high degree of dirt in the air. The general accumulated of this in the area, which is not being removed or cleared away, is a pollutant and needs to be addressed. Anything to clean these areas up would be beneficial to all those using the roads and streets including pedestrians, and especially elderly people and young children (due to the health and safety concerns it presents). It makes the area look very grim , and it is beginning to saturate these high density neighbourhood areas at a level that should not be allowed.
