Litter all along A500

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4240726.

Large amounts of litter all along both carriageways and roundabouts of the A500. Litter includes sheets of plastic, traffic cones and assorted rubbish along the verges and even in the trees and shrubs. The behaviour of motorists is appalling.

  • We have now actioned this report. Many thanks for your report; to enable us to gain access to safely collect the litter on the dual carriageway section of the A500 we need to arrange for traffic management to close one lane of traffic; this is next planned to take place with the scheduled grass mowing in June/July 2023.
