Request to install Pedestrian crossing

Reported via desktop in the Pelican/Toucan Crossings category anonymously at 14:07, Friday 3 February 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4200353.

Hello Sir/ Madam

I stay at CW13JA, the area marked in red are the new homes, around 200-220 new homes were built, average 500-600 people moved in new estate.

Previously there was a train factory which was demolish there was no necessity for pedestrian crossing.

The west street is very busy during school and Bentley start/ finish time, it is a nightmare to cross the road for young kids, couple walking dog, old ages, parents with pram.... Also, there were numerous vehicle accident on west street.

I request council to consider this issue as matter of urgency and install a pedestrian crossing which will ease and make it safe to cross the road.

Thank you
