On edge of road directly outside numbers 15 and 17 Hepley Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:11, Wednesday 1 February 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4193707.

There is a significant area of erosion of the road surface next to the kerb and driveways outside numbers 15 and 17 Hepley Road. It is currently approx. 8 metres in length and of various depths up to at least 5cm in places. This has been reported via this service previously and subsequently closed off as:

Before but closed off firstly as

(a) "fixed" (when it wasn't, although a very small hole neaby was fixed so maybe there was confusion?)

(b) "not meeting repair criteria" which seems odd, given that recently a much smaller and shallower area of similar erosion on the opposite side of the same road has been repaired.

The "hole" is deepest adjacent to the driveway/dropped kerb of 15 Hepley Road, to a point where any car exiting that driveway is in danger or grounding out on the pothole edge if emerging at slightly the wrong angle. Please can this be fixed in the same way that other similar, but less extensive, damage has been fixed along this road? Many thanks.
