Constant mud and slurry on the bridge

Reported via mobile in the Slurry or Mud on the Highway category anonymously at 18:32, Mon 30 January 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4186792.

This has been going on for over a year. There is constant mud and slurry on the bridge. Caused by at least 20 HGV’s (well over the 7,5 ton limit) coming and going to Hunters Moon that is adjacent to the bridge.

I am aware of several accidents dues to this

PLEASE can someone do something about this.

As the problem you have reported is not causing an immediate safety issue we will now look at the best long- term approach for this location. We keep all roads and highway assets safe through our routine inspections. If anything is identified as a risk during a future inspection, we will take action to deal with it as appropriate.
