Land alongside Church Lane and where the Grit Bin is located close to the kissing gate entrance / exit to from the Arclid Quarry walk, opposite St John’s Church

Reported via mobile in the Litter and Bins category anonymously at 19:13, Thursday 26 January 2023

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4174595.

1 - the grit bin which the council replaced last year after I reported it is currently being used by people who wish to throw their dogs filled poo bags away! (See photo attached) Grit has recently been used from the bin in the recent weeks adverse weather conditions by our neighbours. Is it possible to have a dog bin or general waste bin sited close by to avoid this waste or at the very least a sign suggesting people take their litter home? 2 - A considerable amount of litter has been dumped around this land, including used canisters of what I assume is ‘laughing gas’. Many people park on this land who take their dog for a walk but occasionally it seems it is used to empty the waste contents if people’s cars. Again - is it possible to have a general waste bin sited there or a sign as requested above.
