On entering lane you cannot avoid but drop into this ever widening crater on the left!

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4173634.
This pothole has been gradually getting wider and (with it filling with water) a photo has only just been able to be taken of the extent of it. The lane itself is getting into total disrepair again but these potholes at the entrance to Baddiley Hall lane are particularly dangerous. This has been reported several times in the last few weeks but ignored thus far. It is only a matter of time before a cyclist comes off their cycle because of it or a pedestrian twists their ankle. As you cannot avoid it in your car it is also likely to cause damage. To my knowledge this pothole has been there and getting worse for over 3 months now and is starting to become a road erosion issue as well now. The lane needs a total review as well.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
